Kate Bush concert programme, concert ticket (opening night 26/08/14) and 3 pieces of actual original concert confetti from a stage performance of 'Before The Dawn'
Item code: 260814
The confetti blew into the audience during the Ninth Wave portion of each concert (photo above). They measure approx 2¾ x 4¾” and the written extract is the same as that which appears on the back of the Hounds of Love album jacket, which is taken from the Tennyson poem “The Coming of Arthur”. The written extract on the confetti can also vary from piece to piece in terms of positioning, some are perfectly centred, while others are printed more towards the top, bottom or sides.
The ticket opening night, dated 26th August 2014 - a wonderful collectors item and most sought-after piece of music memorabilia from one of the UK's most iconic and influential singer/songwriters.
The programme is more like a book! A beautiful book, this isn't your typical cheap looking programme with staples down the middle that you normally get from concerts. A lot of thought and effort went into the design and layout of this and it shows. In fact, this is probably the nicest and most stunning programme ever! The front and back outer covers have got a wonderful texture to them, almost velvety. The printing on the front cover (and the feather design on the back) have been done with spot varnish printing. It can be tricky to see, unless you hit it with the light at a certain angle (see photo). The inner front and back covers, along with the end papers, are printed with that same fantastic seabed design found on the artwork tickets and lithograph.

Damon: “It really struck a chord with me being Oscar’s 11th birthday and I had a few tears, I just can’t imagine what the Linwood family are going through right now. I said to Dave that I would love to attend the event and support the family, to me it’s probably the most important event I’ll ever do”.

I've been lucky to have met Paul on dozens of occasions over the years, but I will never forget the very first time (Tokyo 1993) and the brilliant introduction John gave me. John having established I was a huge fan of Paul's and that I was a 'Guildford boy' took me backstage to meet my hero (who obviously needed no introduction to me) and said to Paul and then me. . .
